GCU fees are payable to us (see banking details below) for
remittance to GCU, you need to complete a GCU
registration (GCU registration form.doc) and indemnity form (indemnity form.doc), should you be renting a boat rack, please complete the rental
agreement (Boatrack Rental Agreement
2011 & 2012.doc).
2011/2012 fees
R570 per senior
R130 per junior
FREE Senior development paddlers (for seniors from disadvantaged backgrounds who are new to canoeing)
R245 2nd year senior development paddlers. If you cannot pay, the club must assist with the payment.
FREE Junior develpment paddlers (all juniors under the age of 18 who are from disadvantaged backgrounds)
FREE 3rd family member registering (To be eligible for this discount, the 3rd free family member must be a junior).
R285 Pro-rata discount. This is only valid for paddlers joining their union and CSA after the 1st of October 2011 and only people who have never registered with a union before.
FREE For first year juniors. This is only valid for juniors who registering at GCU for the first time.
R130 University students (excluding UNISA). Only valid for undergraduate students who are studying a full-time degree. They must provide a copy of their student card and be under 25 yrs old.
Boat rack costs:
R150 for first K1 and R200 for each and every other K1 stored (i.e if 3 K1 stored by you – R550 will be the cost, (R150 * 1 + R200 * 2))
R200 for first K2 stored and R250 for each and every other K2 stored
The increase in storage has been necessitated by the fact that we have too little storage space and if we require further storage space additional funds will be required to cover building costs.
